Core i5处理器，GeForce显卡，固态硬盘，加上IPS屏幕是我们心目中的ThinkPad T450s完美配置。

大多数用户可能会对更贵的Core i7-5600U的20％更强性能感兴趣——需要最强劲处理器性能的用户，可以考虑选择T440p。GeForce 940M显卡可以让ThinkPad的3D性能翻倍，而不需要太高的价码，或忍受太高的机身温度。

同时我们认为可选的72Wh电池非常值得考虑。12小时的实际电池续航时间足以平衡电池带来的额外重量和厚度，特别是短时间外出时可以使用内置的24Wh电池。另外一方面，我们认为选购48Wh的电池意义不大；厚度相同，也没有轻很多，且相比72Wh电池只便宜20欧元（约136人民币）。
