我们对系统过热降频的担心可以放下了，GL502VY在游戏负载下可以发挥完全的性能。它的核心和表面温度都在更快更吵的风扇的控制之下，因此我们建议用户使用耳机。

G-Sync和Optimus依然无法同时得到支持，这也对电池续航产生了影响。幸运的是对游戏玩家来说，长电池续航和高色域覆盖并不是最重要的参数。GL502VY的屏幕提供了更快的响应速度和适应式同步，相比GL502VT可以带来更好的游戏体验，更不用说从GTX 970M升级到GTX 980M的明显图形性能优势了。

GL502VY最令我们无法满意的可能是缺少对8 GB GDDR5显存以及外部G-Sync的支持。这些功能应该可以让整个系统有更长的产品寿命。

 

除了准系统和之前提到的Alienware 15，技嘉 P35X，Acer Predator 15，和Aorus X5S外，搭配GTX 980M的15寸笔记本电脑屈指可数。相比一些准系统，GL502无法升级显卡和处理器，而相比Alienware 15和Aorus X5S，它的功能较少。不过，它的机身相比技嘉和Aorus更加可靠，同时相比Alienware和Predator尺寸稍小。
