在所有测试之后，GX700给了我们留下了非常复杂的感觉。使用水冷系统的想法听起来不错，不过我们几乎无法找到它相比传统风冷笔记本电脑的优势所在。确实这台笔记本电脑相比其它高端系统更轻更薄，但是它只有在连接水冷系统时才能发挥全部性能。加上外置冷却系统之后，GX700既不能算是紧凑，也不能说安静。

硬件的低温和较高的时钟频率无法完全弥补水冷系统的缺点（超高重量，低频噪音，占用空间大，漏水伤害风险）。我们认为，华硕应该让机身稍厚，采用和Clevo一些准系统（(P775DM1, P870DM等）相似的台式处理器。后者应该会对更换处理器有所帮助。Clevo的准系统提供了更方便的更新升级可能性。来自微星的GT72S 6QF同样在很多方面给我们留下了更好的印象（音效，接口布局，电池续航，机身温度，噪音控制）。
