Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

微星GS63VR Stealth Pro是前代机型的优秀继任者。它的机身变得更薄,而英伟达新一代显卡则为它带来了飞跃性的性能提升。它的发热量依然较高,但相比GS60略有改善。这台笔记本电脑在大部分情况下都可以完全发挥硬件的性能,只要在极端负载下或使用电池时显卡的性能会有降低。

微星也赋予了它更合理的整体表现:不错的机身,全高清屏幕,最新接口标准和优秀的键盘。它的许多工具软件对游戏玩家来说都非常实用,而它的其他特性也没有弱点。

要求一台轻薄设备提供更高的性能几乎是不可完成的任务。微星GS63VR是目前15寸游戏本中最薄的一款机型,而在性能上它依然可以和更笨重的竞争对手抗衡。不过,用户需要接受相对吵闹的风扇以及较短的电池续航。

它除了发热量外最大的问题是风扇噪音。它的风扇在负载下会十分烦人,而在待机时硬盘的噪音也清晰可闻。它的其他弱点相比就不是很明显了。它的铝合金机身在稳定性上还有改进的空间,屏幕亮度较低且色彩准确度不足,尽管支持显卡切换但电池提供的续航时间让人难以满意,同时它的扬声器也只是中规中矩。如果它能够采用更有效的散热系统,显卡的性能应该还可以进一步提高。不过,如果你在寻找可以提供充足性能的超薄游戏本,会使用耳机玩游戏的话,GS63VR十分值得考虑。
