AMD Radeon R9 M265X是一款基于GCN(Graphics Core Next)架构的中高端移动显卡。它最早发布于2014年春,支持DirectX 12。它采用的“Cape Verde”显卡核心采用了640个统一着色器,核心频率为625MHz(通过加速最大可达900MHz)和128位的显存界面,支持2或4GB运行于1125MHz的显存。


架构


“Cape Verde”核心基于Graphics Core Next (GCN)架构,采用28纳米支撑制造。GCN架构显卡采用10个处理单元,总共有640个流处理器。另外,AMD Radeon R9 M265X采用了40个纹理单元,64个Z/Stencil ROP单元,16个色彩ROP单元和512KB的L2读取/写入缓存。

根据笔记本电脑的温度情况,它625MHz的核心频率通过AMD的Boost技术最大可以提高到900MHz。AMD Radeon R9 M265X支持最新的PCIe 3.0标准。


性能


根据核心频率和加速效果的不同,AMD Radeon M265X在2014年中属于中高端移动显卡。它的性能与GeForce GTX 850M (DDR3)基本持平。因此,这款AMD显卡可以在最高900p分辨率和中高设定下流畅运行最新游戏。但在要求较高的游戏如Crysis 3或Far Cry 3中,图形设定需要降低。


特性


AMD Radeon R9 M265X支持一些著名的功能如Eyefinity,允许用户连接最多6个显示器。对于笔记本来说,这经常由可用的显示接口所限制。


这款中端显卡同样支持Enduro技术,以提高能效,它与Nvidia的Optimus技术相似。在待机或低负载情况下(办公软件,上网浏览等),系统会自动关闭独立显卡,采用更低能耗的集成显卡。


M265X同样支持为游戏玩家设计的Mantle API。这个由生产商开发的程序界面可以作为Direct3D或OpenGL的替代。一些支持Mantle的游戏包括Battlefield 4, Thief,和The Sims 4,以及更多未来上市的游戏。


Radeon R9 M265X同样支持AMD的App acceleration技术,它可以帮助改进视频播放的质量和提高应用程序性能。不过,它要求对于OpenCL, DirectCompute或DirectX video acceleration (DXVA)的支持。


功耗


AMD Radeon R9 M265X的热设计功率为35到40W,介于840M(约30W)和 GTX 850M (约40到 45W)之间。因此,这款显卡最适合15寸笔记本使用。在低负载情况下,自动降频功能可以帮助节省能源。在待机情况下,Enduro功能可以完全关闭显卡,以节省更多能源。
